Jewelry Care
As with most jewelry, silver, stainless steel, copper and other metal will tarnish over a period when exposed to harsh chemicals, swimming in pools or ocean water. Also, some climates such as high humidity can cause tarnishing.
Here are some tips to clean and maintain your jewelry:
- Keep jewelry away from chemicals including perfumes or lotions.
- Remove jewelry before swimming in the pool or ocean, as chlorine or salt water will cause the material to tarnish quickly.
- Soak jewelry in clean warm water with dish soap, then rinse and dry with a soft, clean cloth.
- Use a soft polishing cloth or Kleenex to easily clean the jewelry.
- Store jewelry in a cloth pouch or in a jewelry box.
